Spanish 3 Dual Credit: All Spanish 2 (& Sp2 Adv.) students participate in the SDCAFE eligibility assessment as part of their Fall 2023 Semester Exam. Qualifying students should have received a letter of eligibility for Spanish 3 D.C.

Please be advised, the enrollment process is extensive with hard deadlines. Please follow all steps accurately and before the deadline to ensure acceptance into the program:


  • February 2024: Create the Apply Texas Online Account (https://www.applytexas.org) and complete the application for Northwest Visit College or St. Philip’s College, depending on the course you are wanting to take (Applications are due no later than 3/22/24).

  • March/ April 2024:
    • Access your ACES Account for the first time
    • Complete the Alamo ENROLL online modules in ACES student account
    • Complete Dual Credit Student Orientation module in ACES and upload Parent Consent Form into Canvas
    • Pay TSIA2 testing payment ($14) or upload eligible PSAT Scores. TSIA2 testing will take place during the month of March 2024 & April 2024.

Dual Credit Course Offerings

We are expanding our program by offering Construction 1 through St. Philip’s College as a dual credit course this year. Next year, we will add Construction 2.

We currently offer Biology, Advanced Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Spanish 3 as dual credit classes, partnering with Northwest Vista College. (English 3 D.C will be offered starting Fall 2024)

AP Exam Fees

Exams are $40 each.

Payments can be made by using My School Bucks (TAFT AP EXAM FEES tile).


*Payment can also be made in person with Mr. Bernardino by cash or check (exact change required for cash- Checks should be made out to “Taft High School”)*

If you receive free/ reduced lunch, exam fees are $10 each ($20 for AP Seminar).
