There is a testing requirement for the Dual Credit program:

TSIA2 Math DIA 6+ (this is only needed if scores do not meet 950+)
TSIA2 ELAR 945+
TSIA2 ELAR DIA 5+ (this is only needed if scores do not meet 945+)
TSIA2 Essay 5+
PSAT EBRW 460+
PSAT MATH 510+
SAT EBRW 480+
SAT MATH 530+
Scores can be mixed to help students obtain eligibility.
Spanish 3 Dual Credit: All Spanish 2 (& Sp2 Adv.) students participate in the SDCAFE eligibility assessment as part of their Fall 2023 Semester Exam. Qualifying students should have received a letter of eligibility for Spanish 3 D.C.

Dual Credit Course Offerings
We are expanding our program by offering Construction 1 through St. Philip’s College as a dual credit course this year. Next year, we will add Construction 2.
We currently offer Biology, Advanced Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Spanish 3 as dual credit classes, partnering with Northwest Vista College. (English 3 D.C will be offered starting Fall 2024)

Exams are $40 each.
Payments can be made by using My School Bucks (TAFT AP EXAM FEES tile).
*Payment can also be made in person with Mr. Bernardino by cash or check (exact change required for cash- Checks should be made out to “Taft High School”)*
If you receive free/ reduced lunch, exam fees are $10 each ($20 for AP Seminar).
